Helping seniors and disabled remain independent with transportation & in-home services

About Lend A Hand of Boulder City

Lend A Hand of Boulder City helps Boulder City senior and disabled residents by providing increased access to medical care, local errands, respite care and in-home services.

Who We Are

We are a local non-profit organization of volunteers and staff committed to helping the seniors and disabled residents of Boulder City remain independent in their homes.

Who We Are

Since 1989, Lend A Hand has continuously helped Boulder City senior and disabled residents remain independent in their homes with dignity and basic services.

What We Do

Lend A Hand provides transportation, in-home services, companionship, and equipment loans to the senior (age 60+) and disabled residents of Boulder City.

What We Do

We improve our clients’ quality of life by showing them someone cares, assisting them in getting to appointments, or stretching their sometimes already limited budgets.

How We're Funded

Funding is provided by our generous Partners – both in the form of government and private grants, as well as the donations we receive from the local community.

How We're funded

We are deeply grateful to each of our Partners for the generosity that allows us to continue our mission to assist the aged and disabled citizens of Boulder City.

Our Funding Grantors

We appreciate each of our funding Grantors, as the support we receive from each one of them allows Lend A Hand of Boulder City to continue our mission for the senior and disabled residents of Boulder City.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and as an essential component of the success of Lend A Hand, more are needed to meet the increasing needs of our aging and disabled population.  Volunteers meet new people, learn about history, see various parts of the greater Las Vegas area and above all, make a positive difference in someone else’s life.

Transportation

Our drivers assist clients who are unable to drive with transportation to medical appointments, and local errands such as bank/post office visits and grocery shopping.

In-Home Services

Volunteers provide a variety of assistance ranging from light housekeeping and light meal preparation to respite for caregivers, reassurance calls, and appointment setting.

Companionship

Our caring volunteers keep community’s senior and disabled residents company by pet walking, exercising, reading or watching television, or even visiting a favorite location.

Lend A Hand Clients Say
